The ideal candidate has experience defending bodily injury matters including general and product liability, premises liability, and auto/transportation with emphasis on gig‑economy cases, offering meaningful hands‑on litigation and increasing responsibility.

The role involves independent caseload management, direct client contact, and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Licensed to practice law in Washington (in good standing).
• 2–8 years of litigation experience in civil defense matters preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
• Trial, arbitration, and mediation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Work with partners, associates, and staff in a team‑oriented environment.
• Handle all aspects of litigation from case inception to trial.
• Develop and implement case strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Maintain regular client communication with updates and recommendations.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and related documents.
• Evaluate liability and damages and assist in settlements when appropriate.
