Job summary

Indie Campers in Seattle is seeking a Campervan Mechanic to maintain our fleet and ensure vehicles are in peak condition for customers. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with partners to keep the depot running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends/holidays. Experience with campervans is a plus, and the team values practical skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics or automotive programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect campervans and diagnose mechanical, electrical, heating and water systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and light bodywork repairs.
• Coordinate with external partners and suppliers; maintain inventory and documentation.
• Prepare vehicles for customers and assist with check-ins/check-outs.
• Move vehicles between depots and ensure depot equipment and spare parts are organized.
