Newly Weds Foods in Springdale, AR is seeking a Packaging Technician for the 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm). You will operate packaging lines to bag product, verify ingredients, and rotate to related packing tasks as needed to meet customer orders.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, verifying batches with supervisors, loading pallets, and maintaining line cleanliness. HS diploma or GED and 1 year of packaging experience in food manufacturing required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum of packaging experience in food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up machine for startup.
• Verifies ingredient being bagged.
• Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Fills bags with product to required weight and maintains packaging line standards.
• Assists in stacking at end of line by loading boxes/bags onto pallet.
• Completes paperwork as needed.
• Maintains product integrity.
• Assists in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
