Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is growing and seeking dependable individuals for the Weekend Day Shift as Seasoning Machine Operators. The Friday to Sunday schedule runs from 5:55 AM to 5:55 PM, offering a stable, three-day work week within a nationally recognized snack brand.

As a part of our team, you will operate seasoning equipment, monitor product quality, and maintain daily records while adhering to allergen controls and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English instructions.
• General knowledge of cleaning food-handling equipment (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from elevated surfaces when required.
• Comfort working with cleaning chemicals, water, and hoses while wearing all required PPE.
• Prior machine operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor seasoning equipment to ensure product quality
• Inspect and taste chips to confirm proper seasoning levels
• Adjust seasoning flow rates as needed
• Assemble and tear down seasoning equipment at the start and end of production runs
• Track seasoning usage and maintain accurate daily records in our D365 system
• Safely move skids, boxes, and tubs of product using tow motors and ladders
• Follow allergen and food safety requirements and complete necessary documentation
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to keep equipment and work areas safe and ready for production
• Work as part of a cross-functional team to keep operations running smoothly
• Perform other duties as assigned
