Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC in Kings Mountain, NC is expanding our facility and seeking a Seasoning Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM). You will help ensure our products are seasoned to perfection in a modern, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating and adjusting seasoning equipment, monitoring quality, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• Experience operating seasoning machinery and maintaining equipment.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out.
• Ability to monitor production quality and troubleshoot equipment.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with efficiency.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust seasoning equipment to meet product specifications.
• Monitor seasoning quality and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with repairs to keep production moving.
• Handle sensitive seasoning products carefully and follow safety protocols.
• Follow safety protocols for allergens and overall workplace safety.
• Assist with production schedules and communicate with team members.
• Fill in for other operators and train new team members when required.
• Ensure equipment and areas are cleaned and sanitized per standards.
• Suggest process improvements to boost production efficiency.
