Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to service clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete returns, and assist with tax planning, under guidance from experienced pros.

This role focuses on client relationships and growth within a franchise setting. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in accounting (CPA/EA preferred), and experience with individual, trust, and partnership returns.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support; associate roles may provide audit representation

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships
• Assist clients with tax planning and year‑round tax questions
• Support franchise office with client service and sales goals
• Mentor and support junior team members
