Permanent Placements LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate for our client, a well-regarded Pacific Northwest law firm, with offices in Seattle and Tacoma. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of litigation experience and will work closely with clients on a busy, sophisticated practice.

The role emphasizes managing matters from investigation through resolution or trial, drafting filings, handling discovery, depositions, and complex case strategies while maintaining proactive

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active WSBA in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and case management abilities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support a busy litigation practice from initial investigation through resolution, settlement, or trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related filings.
• Conduct and manage all phases of discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Analyze contracts and legal documents, including indemnity and insurance provisions.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and assist with risk assessment and client counseling.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and objectives.
