Job summary

PSC Construction is seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Omaha. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trenchers for underground utility projects, following plans and specifications to ensure precise work.

Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections, coordination with foremen and project managers, and strict adherence to safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator, Skid Steer Loader, Backhoe, Dozer, and other earthmoving equipment).
• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trenchers for underground utility projects.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise and accurate work.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and crew members to meet deadlines.
• Maintain safety procedures and company policies on site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site and communicate with supervisors.
