Job summary

Martel Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our field team across Montana, including Bozeman, Missoula, and surrounding areas. Our carpenters handle formwork, framing, staircases, cabinets, and finish details on diverse projects.

You will read drawings, measure materials, cut and assemble, install fixtures, and work safely with a team of professionals at various weather conditions. Valid driver's license required; strong commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Read project documents, drawings, and sketches.
• Take measurements and calculate material quantities.
• Cut, shape, and assemble lumber and other materials.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and structures.
• Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall.
• Install fixtures and fittings.
• Perform carpentry work on structural concrete projects.
• Build scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Collaborate with team and trade partners.
