Cabinet IQ of Charlotte is seeking an experienced cabinet installer to join our subcontractor network. This 1099 independent contractor role covers residential cabinet installation across the Charlotte metro, including retail homeowner jobs and volume builder programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of hands-on cabinet installation experience (kitchen and bath).
Ability to read and work from cabinet layouts, floor plans, and design drawings.
Own tools and reliable transportation to job sites across the Charlotte metro.
General liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Dependable, communicative, and professional on job sites with homeowners and builders.

Responsibilities

Install kitchen and bath cabinetry in residential homes (new construction and remodels).
Ensure installations meet Cabinet IQ quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
Perform field measurements prior to cabinet orders as needed.
Complete punch lists and touch-ups for homeowner or builder satisfaction.
Communicate with operations team on scheduling and project status.
Conduct quality walks after installation and resolve outstanding items quickly.
Maintain a clean, professional job site.
