Qualifications

• Specialized experience in law enforcement including making arrests and using firearms.
• Ability to interpret and enforce immigration laws and regulations.
• Ability to analyze information quickly and make prompt decisions.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question persons suspected of immigration and customs violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using government assets.
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
