Responsibilities

• Operate snowplows, salt spreaders, and sanders to clear roadways during winter storms.
• Monitor weather and road conditions and respond to storm callouts, including nights and holidays.
• Apply salt, sand, and other de-icing materials to roadways as per procedures.
• Maintain safety by wearing PPE and performing basic equipment checks.
• Document routes and hours and communicate any issues to supervisors.
