Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor to lead and develop workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance. This role sets high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety while fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.

The position requires strong leadership and the ability to train staff, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety policies in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, in compliance with requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication.
• Implements employee development plans to ensure ongoing professional growth.
• Ensures staff receive orientation, training, evaluations, and coaching for continued development.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies at all times.
