Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal supervisor to lead and develop workgroups focused on safety, production, and attendance in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will set high standards for accuracy, customer service, and organization while fostering a collaborative, continuously improving team.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and ensuring compliance with safety policies, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and personnel development across departments.

Qualifications

• Must lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure all employees follow safety policies and procedures; comply with department, station, corporate, and local requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment and proactive communication across departments.
• Implement personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensure orientation, training, materials, and evaluations for all department employees.
