Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor to oversee safety, production and attendance. The role supervises, trains, and develops workgroups while maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, and safety.

The incumbent will lead a team and collaborate across levels to drive continual improvement. The position requires lifting up to 70 lbs, flexible shifts (up to 5 days/week), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Flexible shift availability up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Implements employee personal development plans as required.
• Ensures orientation, skills and safety training are provided to employees.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies.
