Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal supervisor to lead and develop a warehouse workgroup, focusing on safety, productivity, and accuracy. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to train both new and current employees.

Responsibilities include maintaining high standards, coordinating resources, and fostering a positive team culture. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent and experience in management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs and work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Flexible shift hours up to 5 days per week are required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for team leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is expected.
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent preferred; management experience preferred.

• Supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety and productivity.
• Fosters positive relationships with employees, management, and customers; drives continuous improvement.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and government requirements; manages resources for accuracy and efficiency.
• Leads orientation, training, and ongoing development of department personnel.
• Promotes a team-oriented environment and pro-active communication across departments.
• Establishes personal development plans and conducts regular evaluations and coaching.
