Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee, train, and develop workgroups focused on safety, production, and attendance at our New York operations. The role emphasizes leadership, quality, and continuous improvement across departments and teams.

The candidate will set high performance standards, promote collaboration, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations, contributing to a safe and productive warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensures orientation, training, and evaluations for all department employees.
