Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. is seeking a motivated supervisor to lead safety, production and attendance in a fast-paced warehouse. You will train, develop and coach workgroups, set high standards for accuracy, customer service and teamwork, and build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.

You will implement development plans, ensure proper orientation and safety training, and uphold UPS policies while driving continuous improvement across the department.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs/32 kg.
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training for new and current employees.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manages department resources for maximum output and accuracy.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment and cooperation.

• Ensures orientation, skills, and safety training with regular evaluations and coaching.
• Reinforces ongoing compliance with safety policies.
