Job summary

UPS seeks a Seasonal Supervisor in California to lead safety, production and attendance while developing teams. You will set high standards for productivity, accuracy, and customer service, and cultivate cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities include coaching, training implementation, and ensuring adherence to safety policies, with emphasis on continuous improvement and personnel development in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Candidate has or prefers a Bachelor's degree or international equivalents.
• Experience working in warehouse environments is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs as required.
• Flexible shift availability up to five days per week.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Manages department resources for maximum output and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Provides orientation, coaching, and safety training to staff.
