LDF Sales & Distributing, Inc. is seekingSeasonal Warehouse Material Handler I on the second shift in Tulsa, OK. The role supports receiving, storage and order fulfillment within a fast-paced warehouse team.

You will work under the Warehouse Supervisor, aiming to progress toward Material Handler II within 18 months, with focus on safety, accuracy and continuous training. Seasonal summer opportunity with bi-weekly pay and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Prefer minimum 6 months warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn warehouse standard practices and assist the manager with enforcement.
• Meet productivity standards to align with budgets and timelines.
• Handle receiving, storage and order fulfillment tasks.
• Maintain safety compliance with OSHA and company rules.
• Operate WMS systems (VIP, CirrusTech) and ensure FIFO product rotation.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper space organization.

SeasonalWarehouse Material Handler Ifor the Warehouse department. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

As a Warehouse Material Handler I (1) he/she will be entering in an entry-level, training role to achieve Warehouse Material Handler II within 18 months. The role will provide sales support and customer service by working with the warehouse team in receiving, storage and order fulfillment roles. Support the overall warehouse operations through maintaining level work flow coordination, task competency, performance levels and continuous training. Participate in continuous improvement objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Learn all LDF warehouse standard practices and is responsibleto assist manager with enforcement of those practices.

Achieve productivity standards to meet operational budgets.

Achieve critical operational timing to meet customer andinternal needs.

Demonstrates ability to comprehend and perform at target levelin basic warehouse tasks including but not limited to: receiving, storage andorder fulfillment.

Exhibits competency of work practices to allow operationalflexibility. This includes competency in basic shift-specific tasks as detailedby skills matrix and supervisor requirement.

Interface with external contacts professionally to satisfycustomers, carriers and contractors.

Ensures all OSHA safety regulations, local regulations andcompany safety rules are observed. Drive safety in work behaviors.

Demonstrates competency in assigned operational functionsof WMS systems. Current systems include VIP and CirrusTech.

Ensuresproper product rotation and segregation using FIFO methods by leveraging WMSand manual monitoring.

Deliverinventory accuracy through proper WMS and manual methods. Meets objectives fornet shrink, absolute shrink and location accuracy.

Assuresa clean work space leveraging visual management, 5S and warehouse certification.

Regularlyinspect facility and equipment for operational readiness, escalates or resolvesissues as identified.

• Demonstratescompetent skills in shift-specific operations and forklift operation.
• BasicPC skills to perform tasks in WMS systems.
• Proficientverbal and written communication skills.
• Understandscompany policies, procedures and operations.
• Completescompany training programs.

Education/Experience : Preferminimum 6 months warehouse operations and high school diploma/GED.

LanguageAbility : Has ability to communicate with peers and leadership andarticulate problems or questions to the appropriate personnel.

MathAbility: Must exhibitcomprehension of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division inall units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Certificatesand Licenses : Forklift certified.

WorkEnvironment : Warehouse environment. Schedule dependent on assigned shift and business objectives. Minimum 40 hours per week on a four or five-day schedule. Early morning, evening or nights may be required. Overtime as required to meet business demands.

PhysicalDemands :Deals with suddentemperature changes when entering and exiting warehouse refrigerated area.Maintains an acute awareness of moving forklifts and trucks.Requires continuous standing, walking,bending, reaching, pushing/pulling and lifting/carrying up to 160 lbs.May use back brace.
