Job summary

Kohls in Summit Station, OH is seeking a Material Handler to prepare, process and move merchandise safely and efficiently, with cross-training across departments to support operations.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour plus weekend and night shift premiums; shifts include Mon–Thu 7am–5pm, 6pm–4am and Fri–Sun 6am–5pm, 6pm–5am. Availability determines shift selection and cannot be changed after an offer.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and follow rules, training and safety instructions.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Adept multitasking abilities.
• Ability to complete company training and cross-train in at least 2 departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service with vendors, associates and locations.
• Promote a safe work environment and report potential safety violations.
