Job summary

Kohl's in Pataskala, OH is seeking a Material Handler to prepare, process and move merchandise efficiently and safely according to standards. You will be cross-trained across departments to support daily operations.

Responsibilities include receiving, packing, shipping, data entry for reports, and maintaining safety and attendance. Shift options and overtime may apply; starting pay is $17.50 per hour with weekend and night premiums where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English to understand safety rules and training.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate across departments.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to cross-train in at least 2 departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
• Follow safety rules and report violations to supervisors.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines; maintain accuracy and productivity.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to dress code requirements.
• Maintain flexibility to work designated shifts and overtime as needed.
