Job summary

New Century FS, Inc. in Vinton, IA, is seeking a Seasonal General Laborer to support daily operations at the retail supply location. You will assist with inventory, warehousing, and delivery tasks while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work extended hours. Training includes safety, equipment handling, and basic maintenance to help drive cost reductions and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
• Ability to work extended hours when needed.
• Must possess and maintain valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record; forklift certification and CDL willingness.
• Background check, drug test, motor vehicle report may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations at the retail supply location.
• Follow maintenance schedule for facility and equipment.
• Assist with inventory and distribution of products.
• Drive and deliver miscellaneous products as requested.
• Stock and move warehouse product and materials.
• Assist both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
• Maintain facility, equipment, and company image.
• Help achieve goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Work with location manager on safety and compliance.
