Summary

Purpose and Summary Statement

The purpose of this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain operations at the retail supply location, following maintenance schedules for facilities and equipment.
• Manage inventory and distribution of products, including driving and delivering miscellaneous products as requested.
• Stock and move warehouse products and materials.
• Assist full-time and part-time operations personnel.
• Maintain the facility and equipment appearance.
• Help improve efficiency and reduce costs to meet goals.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with the location manager on safety and compliance issues.

Other Job Functions

• Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Drive and run local errands as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1+ years of retail-related work experience demonstrating knowledge of inventory management and mechanics.
• Demonstrate business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Frequently lift 51-70 lbs as needed.
• Work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
• Be exposed to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with safety precautions.
• Work hours may vary outside normal schedules to meet seasonal demands.
• Willingness to participate in required training on policies, procedures, and position-specific requirements.
