Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Warehouse Worker. This is a seasonal position in Raleigh, NC. The team handles distribution, receiving, order filling, stock, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

We conduct pre-employment drug testing. EOE. Great work ethic and reliable attendance are valued as is the ability to lift 50 lbs and work through temperature extremes.

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
