Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Warehouse Worker for a seasonal role in Raleigh, NC. You will support distribution and receiving, process orders, stock inventory and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

We value a strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred; training is provided, and a friendly family culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in large food warehouse preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped and stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories and ensure timely distribution and receiving.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and comply with AVI policies.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (e.g., safety, cleanliness).

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Warehouse Worker. This is a seasonal position in Raleigh, NC.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
