Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc is hiring at the Midwest Fulfillment Center in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role offers a climate-controlled environment, training, development opportunities, and benefits. Set schedules with multiple shift options and starting pay at $21.60/hour, plus shift differentials.

You will audit inventory, process orders, pick, pack, and ship, with occasional PIT experience a bonus. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lb, work in a team, and maintain excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Suggest improvements to leadership and communicate ideas.

• A Shift: Tuesday-Friday, 5:30am-3:30pm
• B Shift: Tuesday-Friday, 4pm-2am (+ $0.75 shift differential)
• C Shift: Saturday-Monday, 6am-6pm (+$2.00 shift differential)

A day in the life…

• Support the business by ensuring inventory and orders are accurately audited, processed, assembled, efficiently packed and shipped
• Comply with job rotation and work where designated with the department and building
• Material handling – repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking and lifting 50lb boxes
• Complete receiving and/or shipping documentation, as required
• Utilize best practices following standard operating procedures and reference aids, continuously looking for areas of improvement and communicating suggestions to leadership as appropriate
• Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources

You own this if you have…

• The ability to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk and lift 50 lb boxes without difficulty
• Experience operating a forklift, order picker or other Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) is a plus
• The ability to drive productivity through the efficient use of time and a commitment to strong results
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• A commitment to teamwork through relationship building, reliability and collaboration

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$21.60 - $23.35 Hourly
