Simon & Schuster seeks a dependable Seasonal Part-Time Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Center in Delran, NJ. You will support the Case Seal Department by keeping cartons flowing, inspecting packages, and monitoring conveyors to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate is a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced setting, perform physically demanding tasks, and contribute to meeting daily production goals, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet the physical and operational demands of a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a steady flow of cartons through the Case Seal Department.
• Inspect cartons to ensure they meet quality and processing standards.
• Monitor conveyor lines and prevent backups to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Operate the split-case back-wall conveyor line.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on departmental needs.
• Work overtime as needed.
