Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a 1st Shift Seasonal Part-time Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. You will maintain the workflow of cartons in the case seal department and assist with related duties.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and good communication across levels. Monday–Friday with flexible hours 5am–1pm; OT may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet workplace demands and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication with all levels of staff.
• Able to stand, twist, bend, reach, kneel, climb; willing to work OT.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workflow of cartons in case seal department.
• Inspect cartons for quality.
• Avoid back up on conveyor line.
• Run split-case back wall conveyor line.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
