Job summary

The Little Nell in Aspen, CO is seeking a Valet Attendant to deliver prompt, courteous service to hotel guests and support the Bellperson as needed. The role reports to the Guest Services Manager.

Responsibilities include parking and delivering vehicles, maintaining safety, documenting vehicle condition, handling keys, and assisting with guest inquiries. This is a seasonal full-time position with benefits and opportunities to collaborate across the Rooms Division.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to drive a stick shift car.
• Familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures.
• Familiar with hotel services and hours of operation.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Park and deliver vehicles promptly, efficiently, and safely.
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Return guest vehicles in the same condition as left, with seats, radio and mirrors in correct positions.
• Lock the car and return keys with properly marked tags to the lock box.
• Note on valet tickets any issues if the car cannot be locked properly.
• Complete tickets, including noting any damages on the exterior of the car.
• Report damages to a guest’s car immediately to management.
• Assist guests with vehicle problems or direct them to the concierge for assistance.
• Keep valet area clean and orderly at all times.
• Assist at the front door as needed by the Doorperson/Bellperson.
• Assist with collection of monies for hourly parking.
• Reconcile vehicles for overnight parking.
• Other duties as assigned.
