Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking enthusiastic bartenders for a temporary onsite seasonal role running from November 2026 through March 2027. You will craft cocktails, provide personalized recommendations, and engage guests in a fast-paced, upscale setting at the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in an upscale environment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must possess or be able to obtain DABS certification.
• Must maintain a current Food Handler permit in accordance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations.
• Some serving shifts may be required as part of the position.
• There is an emphasis on casual conversation, creativity, and building on one’s style and bartending experiences.

This outlet is open for lunch and dinner.

Bartendersare responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunities for casual conversation, creativity, and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will understand state and local serving guidelines.

While this role is primarily focused on bartending, some serving shifts may be required as part of the position.
