Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking seasonal staff for tuxedo shipping to support outbound logistics in a fast-paced distribution center. Duties include preparing shipments, labeling, packing, and using a Warehouse Management System to process orders and verify documents.

Role requires basic computer skills, prior warehouse experience, and strong communication in English. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a busy shipping environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required, additional education is a plus.
• Minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution center environment with strong work ethics and a high degree of excellence
• Prior working experience in a production, distribution, and warehouse environment
• Basic knowledge of computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn proprietary programs
• Working knowledge of Oracle reporting software
• Prior experience in the use of warehouse material handling equipment and tools
• Good communication and people skills are required with excellent command of the English language
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, encourage, and lead team members
• Must have strong commitment to quality and ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow directions and apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Good mathematical and counting skills required

Responsibilities

• Prepares outbound shipments by assembling, protecting, labeling and determining best method of shipment
• Scan and assemble orders for shipment and complete packing slips, bills of ladings (BOL’s), and shipping/driver logs; unload/load merchandise
• Enter data into a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other computer programs
• Sort outbound cartons, maintain shipping lanes and process outbound cartons using small parcel shipping
• Receive and stage shipments in designated locations
• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments against shipping documents for accuracy
• Review all documentation to ensure accuracy of each shipment
• Ensure timely completion and shipment of product from outside vendors
• File and maintain accurate shipping/receiving records, documents, and information
• Inspect and ensure quality control measures on inbound and outbound goods
• Ensure accuracy and count of products selected
• Report damages and discrepancies
• Record and report any damaged products/merchandise to the designated supervisor
• Maintain a safe work environment and report all maintenance or safety issues requiring corrective action
