Job summary

Park City Municipal Corporation is seeking Seasonal Transit Operators to safely operate buses on routes across Park City and Summit County during peak season. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and courteous passenger service.

Responsibilities include daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, operating buses, assisting riders (including ADA passengers), and supporting the Mobility Dispatcher function for paratransit operations. Position ends after the winter season.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with passenger and air brake endorsements.
• Safety-sensitive position requires mandatory and/or random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Ability to pass and maintain the DOT Physical Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate buses on designated routes in Park City and Summit County.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT/FTA regulations.
• Provide superior customer service and act as an ambassador for the City.
• Assist passengers (incl. those with skis, bikes, wheelchairs) and comply with ADA requirements.
• Serve as Mobility Dispatcher for paratransit operations as assigned.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report safety/maintenance concerns.
