Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations in Little Canada, MN is seeking a Traffic Control Driver to transport, set up, maintain and remove temporary traffic control devices for roadway and utility projects.

This union position (Laborers Local 563) offers competitive wages, benefits, steady seasonal work, and on-call duties supporting Xcel Energy and CenterPoint Energy.

The driver must meet MnDOT/MUTCD standards and perform daily inspections. Excellent safety culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all seasons.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in traffic control or construction preferred.
• On-call rotation availability for events.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck and trailers to transport traffic control gear.
• Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones per MnDOT/MUTCD.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Follow laws while driving company vehicles.
• Maintain organized traffic yards.
• Ensure equipment is in good order and report damage.
• Communicate daily with supervisors and dispatch; complete paperwork.
• Respond to on-call and weekend assignments as needed.
