Job summary

Knife River Corporation seeks a seasonal Tractor Trailer End Dump Driver in Sauk Rapids, MN. You will operate a Class A truck to haul asphalt or aggregate from job sites and perform daily maintenance, with winters off and benefits preserved.

The role runs from spring through late fall with potential extension; prior CDL A and a valid medical card are required, along with a clean driving record and endorsements as needed.

Qualifications

• General education, GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A required; preference for belly dump, flow boy, lowboy, tanker or straight truck experience.
• Must have and maintain medical card and acceptable driving record and required endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A truck to transport asphalt or aggregate to job site, often on uneven or unfinished surfaces.
• Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit reports; maintain driver logs as required.
• Daily maintenance of equipment: cleaning, greasing, oiling, brakes, lights and other tasks as instructed.
• Assist with plant maintenance, repairs, setup and takedown; tarp load when needed.
• Maintain and verify information in truck cab pouch; report information on daily timecards and paperwork.
