Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms is seeking a Seasonal Tractor Operator to drive tractor for field production, completing daily and weekly tasks. You’ll work independently or in a team, contributing to efficient operations.

The role requires reliability, ability to work outside, and strong communication with management and peers. Training and development opportunities are available, plus discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery, tractor, or other farm equipment preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to work outside.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
• Walk on uneven ground at farm locations.
• Must be able to work overtime during harvest season or as needed.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on equipment.
• Follow tasks and directions given by crew leader.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
• Assist in the maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Follow safety rules and company policies as specified in manuals and handbook.
• Present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms.
• Seek and participate in company-sponsored training to develop skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with peers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
