Job summary

RSM is seeking a dependable Seasonal Store Manager to lead a temporary holiday Toy Shop. You will oversee daily store operations, support the seasonal team, and ensure a welcoming, customer-ready experience throughout the program.

Responsibilities include staffing and coverage, back-stock replenishment, inventory and pricing checks, POS procedures, and end-of-day reconciliation. Schedule runs ~40 hours/week Nov 4, 2026–Dec 27, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, specialty-store, hospitality, or high-volume customer service; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory replenishment, opening/closing, and daily reporting strongly preferred.
• Confident communicator who can work collaboratively with store associates, client representatives, and customers.
• Strong judgement, reliability, organization, and comfort resolving issues in a fast-paced Holiday retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and support the seasonal team.
• Assign daily zones and breaks across registers, make-and-take, sales floor, replenishment, and cleaning Coverage.
• Coordinate back-stock replenishment with store staff and ensure access to restricted areas only when authorized.
• Monitor inventory presentation, pricing, signage, OOS, and high-demand items; report discrepancies through approved channels.
• Oversee POS procedures, shift handoffs, transactions/returns, and end-of-day reconciliation as defined by the client.
• Hold team accountable to service standards, customer engagement, safety, attendance, and timekeeping; manage staffing agency communications.
• Ensure completion of opening/closing checklists, daily photos, sales/traffic reports, incident reports, and supply/inventory requests.
