Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associates or bachelor’s in fashion preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience as a Technical Designer; patternmaking a plus.
• Strong eye for fit issues and ability to propose solutions.

Responsabilités

• Compile garment component data (fit, fabric, construction, stitch, trim) into fit comments.
• Accurately measure garments to identify fit issues.
• Collaborate with vendors on fit construction and resolve fit issues to ensure consistency.
• Execute fit comments to keep the fit process aligned with production timelines.
• Provide call-outs and critiques during fittings and clearly communicate components to vendors.
• May approve samples to proceed to production after evaluating fit, measurement, pattern shaping, hanger appeal, functionality.
• Request final production tech packs and patterns from vendors; verify accuracy.
• Issue grading guidelines and tolerances to vendors after fit approval to ensure quality across production.
• Create tech packs for all designs.
