Job summary

CHAGEE is seeking a Seasonal Tea Barista (Charista) for our South Coast Plaza location. This part-time, under-29-hours-per-week role runs roughly 2-3 months from November to January 15, 2027. You will prepare drinks to standard, follow SOPs, and deliver friendly service during peak periods.

Ideal candidates enjoy tea, communicate well, and can upsell while maintaining a clean workspace. Training provided; health and safety compliance required.

Qualifications

• Seasonal, part-time role under 29 hours/week.
• Experience with tea preparation and customer service preferred.
• Must obtain Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of start date.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all drink orders to company standards with speed and consistency during high-volume peak periods.
• Follow SOPs and preparation manual closely.
• Learn and understand the menu to introduce new products and tea insights to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service during seasonal rush periods.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Efficiently operate POS and receive payment from customers accurately.
