Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience (individual & business returns).
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and provide personalized recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS guidance, tax notice assistance, and audit support as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
