Liberty Tax Service in Bedford, TX seeks a seasonal Tax Preparer to join our Managed Operations team. Responsibilities include preparing individual and small business tax returns with accuracy and providing excellent client service during tax season.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of tax prep experience, familiarity with federal/state/local tax laws, proficiency in tax software and MS Office, and PTIN eligibility.

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in tax preparation.
• Must have PTIN or eligible to receive.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Review financial records to determine forms needed for tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and conduct client interviews to gather information.
• Explain tax return outcomes and provide tax planning advice.
