Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must have PTIN or eligible to receive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Review financial records to determine required forms for tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client questions promptly.
• Conduct client interviews to gather tax information and explain outcomes.
• Stay updated on tax laws and software updates, and verify data accuracy.
• Maintain organized records and ensure secure filing of documents.
• Mentor and train junior staff as needed.
