Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses and to deliver consultative, client-focused service in-office. You will conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and provide tax-saving recommendations using H&R Block tools and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing individual and business returns and client-facing advisory work.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide tax savings opportunities and recommendations for H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a client-focused office environment.
