Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to act as a trusted advisor, prepare accurate returns, uncover savings, and build lasting client relationships using our training and technology. This in-person role is based at a local H&R Block tax office.

You will interview clients to understand financials, explain tax implications in clear terms, identify tax savings opportunities, and collaborate with team to deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Completed H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or enrollment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience.
• Strong communication and ability to explain tax concepts to clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a client-focused office environment.
