Qualifications

• Completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year of tax prep or related experience including individual and business returns.
• Ability to explain tax concepts to clients in clear language.
• Must meet IRS/state requirements and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and implications.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
