Qualifications

• Must complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and tax implications, then provide clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
