Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, delivering accurate returns and helpful guidance with the support of an experienced team and advanced training.

You will conduct tax interviews in person or virtually, prepare complete tax returns, and aim to grow the client base by offering additional products and services, while respecting all IRS rules and maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services.
• Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Mentor and support teammates.
