Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience, including individual and business returns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• HS diploma/GED required; continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.

Education

High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
