Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand life changes, and provide personalized recommendations. You will build trusted relationships while identifying savings opportunities and leveraging H&R Block products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining tax concepts in client-friendly language
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
