H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in California to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses. You will interview clients, identify savings opportunities, and build lasting relationships using our training and technology. This in-person role offers competitive hourly pay and an incentive plan to reward impact.

You will work with a team to deliver high-quality tax services and provide IRS assistance, audit guidance, and product recommendations as needed.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements.
